Ricardo Aguirre, MD

Dr. Ricardo E. Aguirre is a graduate of the University of El Salvador. He completed his postgraduate studies at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia and Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey and obtained board certifications in general, thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. Dr. Aguirre specializes in the treatment of vascular disorders, including interventions for peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access and varicose veins.

Murali Dharan, MD

Dr. Murali Dharan completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Dharan specializes in adult cardiac surgery, valvular surgery and minimally-invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery including valve repair and atrial fibrillation surgery.

Jatinder Dhillon, MD

Dr. Jatinder Dhillon completed his general surgery residency at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, and serves as the Co-Director of cardiac surgery for John Muir Health. Dr. Dhillon specializes in vascular surgery, thoracic surgery and adult cardiac surgery, with special interest in varicose vein treatment.

Andreas Kamlot, MD

Dr. Andreas Kamlot completed his general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Kamlot specializes in adult cardiac surgery and minimally-invasive cardiac surgery including valve repair and atrial fibrillation surgery, as well as the treatment of vascular disorders, including interventions for peripheral arterial disease and dialysis access.

Tanveer Khan, MD

Dr. Tanveer Khan completed his general surgery residency at Harvard Medical School and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also completed an endovascular fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Transplant and Adult Cardiac Surgery Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Khan specializes in adult cardiovascular surgery and endovascular surgery including minimally-invasive cardiac surgery, transcatheter aortic valve repalacement (TAVR), aortic stent grafts and interventions for PAD.

Mary Maish, MD

Dr. Maish is a graduate of Northwestern University and Rush Medical College in Chicago, completing her general surgery residency at a hospital affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her training at Baylor College of Medicine/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, along with a fellowship at USC.She is board-certified in both general and thoracic surgery, with a specific interest in general thoracic and foregut disorders, including benign, malignant and complex esophageal disorders.

Srinivas Ramachandra, MD

Dr. Srinivas Ramachandra graduated from Bangalore University Medical College in 1973. He completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Hahnemann University (Drexel University) in Philadelphia in 1982. He was a staff surgeon, Chief of Surgery and Chair of the Chief of Vascular Surgery at Kaiser Permanente until 2013. He joined East Bay Cardiovascular and Thoracic Associates in 2013.

Ramesh Veeragandham, MD

Dr. Ramesh Veeragandham completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego and a cardiovascular and thoracic surgery fellowship at Rush Presbytarian Medical Center in Chicago. He is board-certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, and is the Co-Director of Cardiac Surgery for John Muir Health. Dr. Veeragandham specializes in adult cardiac surgery, minimally-invasive valve surgery, aortic valve repair and complex aortic surgery and endovascular surgery.
